Gravitational Waves Detector in Brazil

Few people know that a gravitational waves detector is being built in Brasil. Its homepage is here. It is spherical what makes it directional. So it is not only possible to detect gravity waves but also to find out where it came from, something that LIGO can not do. It is working now mainly for calibration. It will be fully operational next year when all sensors will be installed. There is a nice article in Journal da USP but unfortunately it is in Portuguese.
